What Is Curb Service?

Curb Service means you are responsible for placing the Wheeled Cans at the curb on service day, and removing them from the curb after service.

If the Driver or the Truck needs to leave the street to complete the pickup, we call that Concierge Service.

What Is Concierge Service?

If the Driver or the Truck need to leave the roadway (past the curb/sidewalk/driveway entrance) to complete the pickup we consider that Concierge.

Concierge Service Is Our Specialty.  Simply put, on pickup day, our driver will bring the cans out, empty them, and put them back for you.  It takes all the problems and responsibilities of Curb Service OFF your plate, and puts it on ours.

No more worrying if today is trash day, No more missed days because you or your tenants/guests forgot,  No hassle when pickup days are shifted due to inclement weather or around holidays.

No more hassle of lugging the cans in and out, digging out a spot on the curb snowbank, or dealing with the plows.

No more cans sitting on the curb like a target waiting for bears, raccoons, or other pests.

No more exposure to nosy neighbors, or identity fraudsters digging for data.

It just one less thing to worry about.

Under the deck, in the garage, in an enclosure... You can keep the cans anywhere you like so long as our driver has safe and reasonably easy access.  There may be an upcharge for longer or more complicated access.

Note: Concierge Service includes 2 of the 2-wheeled cans, but does not include an enclosure shed.  If you don't already have a shed you can procure your own, or get one from us.  Enclosure sheds are available at additional 1-time expense.

What Are Wheeled Cans, & How Many Do I Get?

Some people call them Totes or Bins or Carts or Cans...  We call them wheeled cans even though they are not actually cans in the the conventional definition of cans...  Each wheeled can has 2 wheels and a flip over lid.

They come in different sizes: 48, 64 & 95 Gallon:
48 Gallon would be medium and usually fine for 1-3 people that are conscientious about producing less trash.
64 Gallon is basically "Large" size and is fine for 3-6 people (or more low producers)
95 Gallon is the "XL" size and is the largest that you see on the street.  This is best for active families.
For you ultra low producers who want to conserve space, there are also smaller options.

And standard single family residential account pricing includes 2 of the 2-wheeled cans.  Almost everybody is good with 1x95 for trash + 1x64 for recycles (or vice versa) so that is our standard.

If you like matching size cans you can shift up or down.  We're happy to get you whatever you need, and don't worry we can switch out to get you bigger or smaller cans as you see your needs change.

Also if you need more than 2 of the 2-wheeled cans, don't worry, you aren't alone, just let us know and we'll give a reduced rate on the additional can(s).

For small businesses, especially in the tight space Main St business districts where dumpsters arent possible, wheeled cans can be a lifesaver.

Does Concierge Service Include An Enclosure Shed?

No.  We are not in the enclosure business. Our specialty is service, and concierge service is simply a higher level of service.

We originally started concierge service by providing enclosures with a built in system for holding reuseable sacks.  We have found the "sack rack" system to be no less wasteful, or convenient and have largely transitioned away from that model.

For new customers who really want the sack rack enclosure, and existing customers who already have the sack rack enclosures, we will continue to do pickups from your enclosure until your enclosure needs replacement or you request to switch.

Most of our customers choose an enclosure to protect & control access, and to keep the cans hidden making the yard/patio looking great.

For new customers or phase outs:

-There is such a wide array of options commercially available online, that many people find something there that best fits here taste and/or budget.

-You have the option to purchase your own enclosure from online or anywhere else,  you may also choose to take one of our pre-fab standard enclosures, pre-fab bear resistant enclosures, or have us build one for you - custom built to your exact design specs to best fit your landscaping and functionality needs.

Do I Have To Have An Enclosure Shed?

Not at all.  Many people choose an enclosure to control access and/or to keep the cans hidden from sight in a more attractive enclosure, but ultimately the choice how and where you keep the cans is up to you.

We just want to make sure that it is safe and reasonably easy for the driver to get to them.

There may be an upcharge for placements that take extra time or are more difficult for the driver to get to.

What Is The Coverage Area?

Ulster, Dutchess, Greene & Columbia Counties

The bulk of our accounts are in Saugerties where we started up and also where we are based.
We currently have accounts all over Ulster County, In the Red Hook/Rhinebeck area of Dutchess and Southern Columbia County, and the Catskill/Cairo area of Greene County.

Right now we are scaling up and proviging service in many new neighborhoods.  However, we are limiting new accounts to these counties and we need to have 2 or 3 accounts in an area to be able to keep the price-point.

If you aren't in one of these areas, let us know and we'll work with you to get some other accounts in your area ASAP!
